Karnataka Congregation in Kuwait was established over 33 years ago and was primarily started to minister to the christian community arriving in Kuwait from the state of Karnataka, India.

We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three person; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son who became man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross of Calvary
in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He was buried, rose from the dead bodily, and ascended into heaven and is now interceding at the right hand of the Father and will return to the earth in power and glory.
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. We believe in the external demonstration of this repentance and faith by obedience of water baptism by immersion.
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in enabling a person to repent and be born again and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe that it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that a born again person can live a sanctified life overcoming the fleshly nature and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit.
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and divine healing of spirit, soul and body as manifest in the early church.
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of saints called out of darkness to worship the Lord in spirit and truth, to edify and cause the body to be built up into the fullness and likeness of Christ and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
Governance of the Congregation
The head of the congregation is the Pastor and who is part of the Pastoral Committee which takes decision on a periodic basis on the day to day activities of the congregation and the information is relayed to the members of the congregation via weekly bulletins and announcements.
Our congregation is a spiritual body and not a corporate one and all responsible persons are appointed and not elected to the body of Christ based on the Biblical principles with special reference to Numbers11:16, 17 and Acts 6:3, 4; 14:23 accordingly.
Members who attend our congregation have the choice to serve the congregation as “Second Line Leaders”, “Deacons” and “Elders” respectively in the order of seniority should they choose to serve the congregation.
This congregation is not an offshoot of any church in India or elsewhere and is an independent entity evolved over several years of its existence in Kuwait and are therefore not answerable to any church in India or elsewhere or are in need to follow the unscriptural rules adopted by them.
This congregation presently enjoys the spiritual covering of the Light House Church, NECK for guidance and advice
